Thomas Gibbs & Gwendoline Earl

At All Saints Church, Kempston, Beds. 9th November 1940.

On the day of their marriage, a bomb was dropped on the allotments close to the Kempston Barracks,
which is also close to their home, so they had to walk around or climb over the debris to get to their
house. When they got there, all of the windows had been blown out by the blast!
