Then and Now

Most of these black & white photos of Bedford & Kempston were taken by me in the mid 1960's on 35mm film.
The negatives deteriorated over the years, so I scanned them and cleaned up the images. Although they are not perfect, they are still a reasonable record of the area.
If you click anywhere on the photo you will see a similar shot taken in 2009, or later, which hopefully shows how the scene has changed.
I tried to take them from a similar position and have resized them to try and get round the different photo format sizes of 35mm and digital.
